Leute, wenn euch konkret helfen wollen, bitte sei aktiv in euren lokalen Tierschutzverainen, die in Rumänien helfen. Durch Geld spenden oder arbeiten als Freiwillige in Rumänien kann man helfen.
Es ist toll dass so viele sich kümmern, aber leider nur konkrete Aktionen was bewegen.
Im nächsten Sommer werde ich als eine Freiwillige in Rumänien arbeiten.

ich bin selbst in rumänien geboren, aber wenn ich solche bilder sehe, dann schäme ich mich dafür. mir ist es unbegreiflich, wie man tieren solche qualen zuführen kann. den menschen, die solch grauenhafte dinge machen, müsste man das selbe antun! wenn ich solche bilder sehe kommen mir nur noch die tränen. wie herzlos kann ein mensch eigentlich sein?

Ich finde es schon schlimm genug, das es menschen gibt die tieren so entsetzliches leid zufügen können.
wenn es eine abstimmung geben würde wie man mit diesen peinigern verfahren würden. dann gehört ihnen die todesstrafe! ! ! !
Bin selbst Hundebesitzerin und finde diese Bilder erschütternd...

In almost every European country there is at least one animal protection association or organization which try to help Romanian stray dogs. But it is not easy if Romanian authorities are not willing to co-operate. I sugges that all animal lovers could contact now an association or organization in their own country, with whom she/he can start to support and help Romanian stray dogs. Many of those associations will also organize helping campaigns for volunteers to numerous shelters in Romania.
There are also a huge need for local Romanian associations to get funds for e.g. to build private shelters for stray dogs. We all know how horrible places most of those municipal shelters are. Just use internet or ask about organizations. It is not so difficult.

Hallo,
ich bin erschütter, daß es immer noch so grausame Methoden gibt, Tiere zu quälen und auf eine furchtbare art und Weise zu eleminieren.
Vor dem Eintritt in Die EU sollten alle Politiker die Augen richtig aufmachen und diese Mail müsste auch an alle gesendet werde, die irgendwo in den Spitzen der hohen Gebäude sitzen und über solche Unwürdigen Praktiken hinweg schauen können.
Man sollte umbediungt die Medien in Deutschland auf dieses Thema aufmerksam machen.
Das ist wirklich das aller Letzte.

adopt 2 dogs, one of them from eastern europe.
so did and do many other people already.
so better put your energy in PR for adoption, websites, contact management with international organisations etc...
you will get rid of what you see as a serious problem. many people will have and will use the chance to adpopt one of the stray dogs.
sounds smart? just do it?

I pray and hope that there are enough people who do care about helpless, innocent animals and stop the murder and folter of other creatures. I have many romanian friends and I know the problem in Romania is the lack of hope for their own perspective that changes people from caring to cruel. Romania needs the help of the welthy european countries to grow. But the price for a place in Europe should be the human behaviour that deserves the name human. So stop the cruelty against animals!

Why isn't it possible to talk to each other in a way that gives a real chance to find a solution for this problem? Nobody should call another person a 'killer' or send wishes like 'America should throw a bomb on your country' ...
Romania has a lot of problems and the people in that country - in my opinion - do not want these dogs to be killed but they don't have many possibilities to act against their politicians. Please keep this in your mind and don't call the whole Romanian nation 'killers'.
I also would not like to be made responsible for those things who happend in Germany regarding the so called 'fighting dogs' ...
I would suppose that all organizations who are working for the protection of animals and who are really in a position to offer financial and other support to solve this problem, e.g. by castration/sterilization of the dogs etc. should come together and work TOGETHER, not the one here and the one there etc. This is not easy, but it might be the only way to save the lives of these poor dogs who are the most innocent creatures in this bad game ...

Romania is one of the poorest European countries with one of the lowest per capita income. Romania would receive 5 Billion Euro from the EU, if they would be admitted in the EU.
As a comparison and for your info: Portugal used to be an extreemely poor agricultural country. With the help of this "sick and false union" as you like to call it, Portugal developped rapidly into a modern country with a population that has now a very decent income and a very good life. Romania in turn has been overcome even by Bulgaria who only a few years back was far behind.

Such stupid statements are always used by people who have no real arguments. The vast majority of the German people that wants to save the dogs were not even born during World War II. So you can't hold them responsible for what happened then. But the Romanian people who kill the strays instead of castrating them are acting right now, they are alive and responsible for their acts. And by the way, you seem to forget that Romania was an allie of Nazi Germany for a very long time and only as it became clear that they would loose the war did Romania change side.
